Product Description

DSR-8035 is a hydrophobic modified highly associative alkali swelling thickener that can be used as the preferred thickener or co thickener for water-based coatings. It can significantly improve the medium to high shear viscosity, effectively improve the flowability, leveling, and water resistance of the coating, enhance the glossiness of the coating, improve the splash resistance of the coating, and enhance the resistance to bacteria and mold at a lower dosage.

Application and Usage:
DSR-8035 is recommended to be added in an amount of 0.3-0.7% (in finished form). Before use, adjust the pH of the thickening system to 8-9 using ammonia water or multifunctional additives. Then dilute DSR-8035 with water in a ratio of 1:2-3 and slowly add it under low-speed stirring; It is recommended to add lotion before adding it to obtain high gloss presentation.
